DPD, has an extensive UK network to fulfil its time critical delivery service throughout the UK, to Europe and the rest of the world. The procurement of this significant approx. nine acre site, demonstrates Parc Felindre’s excellent location, transport links and the flexible service provision for tenants of the stature of DPD. Work started on the DPD site in March and plans to be operational by the end of the year.
Parc Felindre site offers 12 fully serviced plots with excellent connectivity at the heart of the Swansea Bay Region. The site has a history of empowering industry and commerce to Swansea and the region. On the original site, Felindre Tinplate Works employed more than 2,500 people in the 1970’s.
This new 150 year lease for DPD has been secured by JLL and Bruton Knowles on behalf of Swansea Council and Welsh Government Joint Venture and represents just the beginning of Parc Felindre’s regeneration for new employment, infrastructure and industry for Swansea, and the whole region.
