“Not only will that increase our capacity this year, but it will also give us room to carry on growing, to ensure we continue to maintain the high level of service our customers in the area have come to expect.”*

The procurement of this significant approx. nine acre site, demonstrates Parc Felindre’s excellent location, transport links and the flexible service provision for tenants of the stature of DPD. Work started on the DPD site in March and plans to be operational by the end of the year.

Parc Felindre site offers 12 fully serviced plots with excellent connectivity at the heart of the Swansea Bay Region. The site has a history of empowering industry and commerce to Swansea and the region. On the original site, Felindre Tinplate Works employed more than 2,500 people in the 1970’s.

This new 150 year lease for DPD has been secured by JLL and Bruton Knowles on behalf of Swansea Council and Welsh Government Joint Venture and represents just the beginning of Parc Felindre’s regeneration for new employment, infrastructure and industry for Swansea, and the whole region.

Deputy Minister for Economy and Transport Lee Waters said:
